As a fully qualified investment manager - having passed the Investment Management Certificate in 2001 during my time at Avlar BioVentures - I have led and managed investments in ten companies both on behalf of myself and venture capital firms. Also as a director of companies undergoing investment I have also supervised that side of the investment process on several occasions.
Companies that I have invested in have generally being sucessful in providing positive exits for investors via IPO (Cozart) or trade sale (Paradigm, Sterix, Incenta, Proteom). Others such as Medical Device Innovations continue to be successful and have gone on to raise further funding.
I am a current advisor to three investment funds or companies: the Lachesis Fund, NetScientific Limited and ETCapital Limited and I have previously advised Quester Capital Management, Babraham BioScience Technologies, the Merlin Fund and the Sulis Fund.
